Our Mission
* Reaching the Arabic-speaking community in the Washington Metropolitan area through proclaiming the gospel of salvation. * Equipping believers to become disciples of the Lord Jesus, and to use their talents in serving others. * Training believers to take the role of leadership in the church and to fulfill the Great Commission. * Ministering to the needy, especially the un-churched, both physically and spiritually. * Assisting missionaries to the Arabic-speaking people through prayer and financial support. * Distributing Bibles to those in need. * Providing a place of worship where attendees find the love of Christ manifested in a practical and Christ-honoring way. * Reaching Arabs in neighboring States with the gospel message through the annual conference. * Reaching Arabs in the Metropolitan area through a weekly radio ministry.
Our Beliefs
* The Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God. * There is one God, eternal and self-existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. * All mankind is lost, due to Adam’s sin, and is totally helpless. * Through God’s love, sinners are redeemed by the quickening power of the Holy Spirit and through their faith in the atoning death and resurrection of God’s Son, Jesus Christ. * Justification is by faith, and through faith, the undeserving sinner is clothed with Christ’s righteousness. * The goal of God’s salvation is the Christian’s life of holiness, good works and service for the glory of God. * Baptism is practiced as a witness of faith in Christ. * Jesus Christ will return to earth, visibly and bodily, to fulfill history and the eternal plan of God. * The gospel message of salvation in Jesus Christ must be published to all the world as a witness before Christ’s return. |
